The Stuff I Gotta Tell Ya:
I believe 5 Dog Farm is nothing without our subscribers. Our relationship relies heavily on 5 Dog Farms honest opinion.
5DogFarm is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and links to Amazon.com. As part of this Amazon Associates program, the Website will post customized links, provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to their website. This program utilizes cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales.
Ok, What is an Affiliate Link?
Many (but not all) of the links on 5Dog.Farm are affiliate links. This means that a special tracking code is used and that I may make a small commission on the sale of an item if you purchase through one of these links. The price of the item is the same for you whether it is an affiliate link or not, and using affiliate links helps me to maintain this website and support my family.
In some cases, I may also use a link and provide a discount code for an item. In these cases, I may still earn an affiliate commission and the price may actually be LESS for you by using this link or tracking code.
For instance, if you click on a link on this website for an Instant Pot (swoon) or a Hori Hori knife or other item that I link to from Amazon, I will receive a small commission (could be 35¢ or a whopping $1.05). Typically I hope for enough to keep the donkeys in some fresh hay and happy with me.
Again, for simplicity, assume that any link on 5Dog.Farm is an affiliate link and that I may/will make a commission if you purchase through these links (though the price remains the same for you).
I do not write paid posts. I do not accept free products for review. My thoughts and opinions are my own and not of those of any sponsor or advertiser. Items I select to review have been used by myself or a 5 Dog Farm member. We will put it through it’s paces and amend posts accordingly when a product succeeds or fails beyond our wildest dreams. Phew…. Ok, if you still have a question about this just email me: [email protected]

The Fine Print
What your are reading on this blog are the opinions of 5 Dog Farm. You may have great success with an item or service that we are unsatisfied with. You may not have a great experience with an item we love. It’s just the nature of people. C’est la vie non?
Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified by the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
From time to time I will post an adult beverage recipe. It goes without saying that these recipes are for adults 21 years of age and older…but I still have to say it.
Essential Oils & Wellness Tips
We are not professional farmers or physicians. Not even on TV. This a journey of four generations learning homesteading and the documentation of that journey.
I am NOT claiming that essential oils or our wellness tips will cure anything. I will offer the purported health benefits of essential oils, ingredients and compounds that go into our recipes. I am NOT offering medical advice, merely posting about things my family has done for health and wellness over the years.
Make no mistake, essential oils are powerful. They can be a great aid in your homestead if used correctly. As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a medical doctor and a qualified/expert aromatherapy practitioner. Always do your homework and always make sure that the oils you choose to diffuse are safe for use around kids and pets, unless it’s a Kid Safe® product (which is just another reason I LOVE Plant Therapy). If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier oil).

In other words: Use your commonsense. Always question and always rely on your own judgement.
Alright….let’s go have some fun!
