Let’s Learn About Bees Part 3

Bees. Are they worth it? Even though we have made mistakes from the very beginning, we believe they are an important part of our farm. Here’s why:

We are expanding our vegetable garden and have put in a fledgling berry garden. Now, at the moment the berry garden is on course to be Jurassic Garden the second. BUT I have made headway with the veggie garden and am pleased with it. More in an upcoming garden tour but for now suffice it to say that I refuse to revisit Jurassic Veggie Garden. Please let’s not talk about the berry garden yet… but here’s a veggie garden tease:

So, did we mess up with the bees? Oh ya. BIG time. The good news is we caught it on film for you to understand what NOT TO DO! Oh boy. Don’t miss parts 1 and 2!

I hope you learn from us. We really just had a small misunderstanding that ended up creating a BIG problem. Even though we READ the books (you know how I feel about that. It’s nice and all but DOING is a different reality). So sit back and enjoy our little bee circus event. I hope you chuckle at it like we did… about a week later…
