This is a case of “make it work”. We’ve been having a heck of a time getting a few of the guinea hens in at night. Even though we told them to come in when the street lights come on… they still want to play. Remember when you were a kid? “Awwww Mom, it’s still early”!
Rain and mud doesn’t dampen their desire to stay out and play. So I grabbed a few items I had at hand and created a Guinea Hen Chute (or stockade) to get them in quicker at night.
Here’s what I did and in time I plan to create a more permanent solution:
