This may not seem like a big deal to you cold weather experts but for a newbie like me it was an revelation!
Let me explain: It was our first winter in Wisconsin. I went out to change our chickens water and…. no water was coming out of the hose! Whhhhaaaa? Ya, this California girl had no idea that the spigot could freeze. *Best valley girl voice*: Like totally… what happened?
