Wow! Did this year fly by! The garden produced SO much and I have to say it worked a LOT on it’s own! I just couldn’t spread my self out much more.
Besides making a BIG mistake and planting 80 cucumber plants (no, I really don’t know what I was thinking) the garden mostly consisted of tomatoes and peppers. The Candy Roaster Squash did great but the insects got the best of our broccoli and cauliflower.
Looking forward to a better scheduled garden next year as our daughter Sammi has expressed interest in partnering with me in the garden. This winter, she and I will be planning out next Springs garden!
Here is a video about some cool items I have purchased to make gardening easier on my back and more streamlined as we grow the garden bigger and bigger every year!
Lots more tutorials coming and as we complete the interior of the farmhouse, I’ll be back to cooking. PLUS! we have purchased a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer and I CAN’T WAIT to show you how that works!
What did you preserve in your garden?
