There’s more to bees than just getting golden honey. So many things for us to learn about our new livestock – the bees.

Let’s continue on in our adventure and learn a bit about why we chose to use a frame feeder and what books have guided us through the best. PLUS my “Bee Juice” recipe!
Don’t forget to use the pin below!
A great way to start off your bee hive. Give them some extra umph!
- 1 gallon filtered water
- 1.5 pounds non-gmo sugar
-
I make mine ahead of time so I don't bother to use the stove.
-
In a large stock pot pour your gallon of filtered water.
-
Add in the 1.5 pounds of non-gmo sugar. Stir until you don't see the sugar crystals anymore.
-
Using a funnel pour into a container and keep in your cupboard (for a few days if neccessary). I make mine the night before I need it.
-
It's your decision how often you want to use it and for how long. We are giving it a few months to see how the bees are doing then deciding whether or not to keep supplimenting with this bee juice or just let them…. "bee"….. 😉
Have you given your bee hives a kick start?
