Using my easy homemade marshmallow recipe linked below, you can make these tasty morsels for your family!
Cut marshmallows into whatever size you would like to have. I did both large and small cuts and turns out most everyone prefered the smaller size. Experiment for yourself. I didn't notice a difference in texture once they were all done.
Using your dehydrators instructions: set temperature to 130°.
If your dehydrator has a timer like mine, set for 4 hours or just set whatever timer you have. If you are dehydrating LARGE marshmallows you will have to run your machine 6+ hours.
You'll know they are done when, once cooled, you can squeeze and shatter the marshmallow into bits of powder. If they have some give and don't break, pop them back in for a bit longer.
Let cool and then pop into mason jars or using a foodsaver device, seal into air tight bags. Don't store them while there are still warm... however DO try tasting one while they are still dehyrating. Slightly crunchy, slightly melty...oh so good.
Store in airtight containers or bags for up to a year.
